Running Basics is designed for newcomers to running, who wish to learn the basics in order to begin training and improving. This course is ideal for people aiming to keep fit, and make improvements in their fitness with little past exercise history.

Our Goals are:
Learn effective warm up and warm down practises; essential to enjoy running and protect against injury.
Run with correct posture; enjoy feeling smooth and efficient by running with correct form.
Develop basic running fitness; through controlled progression, increase your fitness so you can enjoy running and are able to run distances.
Learn to plan your own training sessions and measure progess.
Course Requirements:
No prior running experience is needed.
Participants are strongly encouraged to attend at least once a week.
